Pastor Eddie Caraveo serves as the Senior Pastor to our Victory Outreach of South Sacramento congregation. At the age of 19, Pastor Eddie
found himself lost and bound to crack cocaine. He was in desperate search for meaning of his life. His uncle served as a minister at Victory
Outreach Church of Hayward and decided to invite Eddie to church. This day became the turning point in his life as he gave his heart and
life to the Lord Jesus Christ. He continued to seek God and serve in the local church of Victory Outreach of Hayward.
Upon his second year of salvation, he began to work within the youth department and felt the call of God to go further in this ministry. He
eventually became the youth pastor for Victory Outreach of Hayward. With no father figure in his life and a mother still struggling with
Heroin addiction, Pastor Eddie turned to his Pastors as parental figures for his life. Through their example-ship, bible courses, and serving in
the ministry, his search for the purpose of his life became clear. He had a burden and a passion to help people know God and see others
reach their full potential in life with a purpose.
Serving together in the Youth Ministry, Pastor Eddie and Thalia fell in love. After Thalia graduated from the California University of San
Francisco, they married. In 1998, after only 3 months of being newlyweds, they were sent out here to South Sacramento to continue the
work of the Lord as the new Senior Pastors. Through the years, they have dedicated their time and effort to see many lives changed by the
power of God. They have 4 beautiful daughters ages ranging from 1 to 11. In their leisure time, Pastor Eddie enjoys golfing and reading
while Thalia likes to workout at the gym and take long walks. They continually strive to create an atmosphere of Love, Life, and Liberty in
their family and in this ministry.
Victory Outreach Church of South Sacramento is dedicated to pursuing Jesus Christ; reaching people from the inner city; and seeing others
fulfill their purpose in life with excellence! Our ministries and programs are designed to serve the community of South Sacramento and
